The Central Business Portal is being developed and deployed in phases, with the initial phase centered on an online, unified business application process.
The national government is launching the Central Business Portal (CBP), an online one-stop shop for registering businesses, on January 28, Thursday, via Facebook Live.
The government said the National Business One-Stop Shop (NBOSS) and the Central Business Portal that was developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) will improve the processing of business permits from 13 steps in 33 days to nine steps in seven days.
The Central Business Portal, which will be fully operational by February 14 next year, covers business transactions under the SEC, but is envisioned to also cover the DTI and even the BIR.
