The MarCoPay app will utilize QR codes that vessel masters and seafarers could use to manage, receive, spend, and remit their salaries in the form of e-money.
The MarCopay e-money platform, which is expected to be launched in January 2020, allows seafarers to receive and send e-money instead of getting cash onboard.
