The real-time volcano advisory application, initially for Android devices, provides infographic information on the latest updates of Philippine active volcanoes monitored by DOST-Phivolcs.
Using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology, UP was able to generate maps with resolution of up to 1x1 meter which can be used for planning and reconstruction of areas damaged by the Taal Volcano eruption.
