He joins the firm?s top management crew composed of Hideto Nakamura (country manager), JK Siew (assistant country manager), Ed Bonoan (senior general manager, head of sales), Donna Ferro (general manager, head of marcomm and customer support), and Juliet Real (general manager, head of back office). After leaving Epson abruptly, Alvarez made a very short stop at Samsung Philippines as a top executive for the Korean firm?s IT product line. Prior to his return, Russer Cabrera, a former employee who resigned at the same as time as Alvarez, also made a comeback to the company in 2011 as manager for the firm?s commercial and industrial division. In another development, former IBM Philippines country communications manager Richard Burgos recently packed his things to relocate to Hyderabad, India to join the science agency ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics). Incidentally, ICRISAT?s director general is from the Philippines ? former Agriculture secretary William Dar. ]]>
