Seair expands online cash payment service

Through an agreement between Triplestar Travel and Tours, Seair?s Philippine general sales agent, and GPRS, customers can now make cash payments at any of the 700 GPRS branches nationwide in addition to the eight Seair ticketing officers in Manila, Clark, Cebu, and Davao. The addresses of the Seair ticketing offices and GPRS branches will be shown upon completion of reservations at and Payment must be made within 18 hours of booking. Seair launched earlier this year CashPay, a payment facility for online booking transactions for domestic and international flights. ?We were so impressed by the popularity of CashPay that we decided to partner with GPRS so we can reach out to more travellers in the country,? said Seair president Avelino Zapanta. GPRS is a remittance company with a wide network of branches located in major shopping malls and business districts. Seair recently announced the expansion of its domestic operations in seven cities starting July 31, 2012. It will operate daily flights from the Manila Domestic Airport to Cebu, Davao, Tacloban Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Boracay (via Kalibo) and Bacolod) using five newly-acquired Airbus aircraft. Seair has also expanded its reach regionally with its current jet services from Clark International Airport to Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kota Kinabalu, and Boracay (via Kalibo, Aklan). The partnership with Tiger Airways allows Seair to distribute seats through Tiger Airways’ Internet booking system.
