Globe partially restores services in Mindanao after ?Pablo? triggers outage

?Globe Telecom experienced a service interruption due to fiber optic cuts in the areas of in Davao, Cagayan De Oro, and Bukidnon at around noon today. These were caused by heavy rains and strong winds brought by Typhoon Pablo,? the company said in an advisory on Tuesday, Dec. 4. ?Subscribers in these areas will temporarily experience difficulties sending and receiving text messages, making calls or connecting to the Internet,? it said. But later in the day, Globe issued another advisory saying its mobile services in the affected areas have been ?partially restored as of 6:30PM?. ]]>
