The Singapore-based news outlet, My Paper, identified the Filipino worker as Carlos Pestano III. According the repot, Pestano ?posted last Friday that Singaporean employees in his company who worked under foreign bosses were ?bitter?.” The report said Pestano is listed as a process engineer with Seagate and is from Rizal province. “My Paper believes he has been working here for at least four years,? it added. US-based Seagate said in its Facebook page ?that it is looking into the matter and will take necessary disciplinary measures,? according to My Paper. “We deeply apologise for this and would like to make it clear that he was speaking in his individual capacity,? the company said, as quoted by My Paper. “Please rest assured that we take this matter seriously, even though it was posted on an employee’s personal page.” ]]>
