Blizzard?s ?Hearthstone? debuts on iPad

?Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft? formally debuted on Apple?s iTunes app store on Thursday, April 17, marking the worldwide release of its iPad version. hearthstone Formerly playable exclusively on the PC, the game can now be run on any of the supported iPad devices ? the iPad Air, iPad 4th generation, iPad 3rd generation, iPad2, iPad mini, and the iPad mini with Retina display. Players can log into their Battle.net accounts through their iPad devices and play the game anywhere as long as they are connected to the Internet. All existing player data, including card collections and progress, will be shared across any device used to access one?s player account. New players may also log in using their iPads and begin their journey into the world of Hearthstone. As a bonus, playing Hearthstone in any of its three modes (Practice, Arena, or Play) will earn the user a free card pack, regardless of whether the game is a win or loss. Blizzard also announced last Friday, April 11, its first major expansion for Hearthstone entitled ?Curse of Naxxramas? at the Pax East gaming convention in Boston, Massachusetts. The expansion, which is based on Blizzard?s World of Warcraft dungeon of the same name, will feature 30 new player cards, an interactive Naxxramas game board, and a variety of new bosses, each with custom hero powers and abilities.
