It is organized by local digital media company Globaltronics. The Asean integration for 2015 is a regional effort by members of the Association of South East Nations, which includes the Philippines, to fuse together their economic impact in the global market. Globaltronics president and CEO William Guido said DAX will gather Asean countries to the Philippines to create economic partnerships and opportunities among the stakeholders. International speakers here and abroad will try to address in the DAX event the various issues about the digital industry, including the emergence of innovative technologies in advertising and communications that could provide the enabling platform for the country and other nations to integrate as one marketplace. Among the main topics to be discussed are digital content publishing, telco and mobile growth, embracing innovation in mobile advertising, growth of social media, digital learning for all, mobile commerce, brand omnipresence, among others. Guido, who was elected as the LED Sector head for the Outdoor Advertising Association of the Philippines (OAAP), initiated the first DAX event in 2013 titled “The Orient Rising” held at the One Esplanade of the SM Central Business Park in Pasay City. The event was attended by more than 500 people including international speakers coming from four continents. In celebration of Globaltronics’s 10th year anniversary last March 28, the company held its Second National Digital Arts Awards or NDAA with the theme: “Redefine, Recreate, Revolutionize” at the Resorts World Manila hotel participated in by professional artists, amateurs, including students. ?
