Accenture PH unveils unique team-up with rural BPOs

To mark the 10th year of its business process outsourcing (BPO) business in the country, Accenture Philippines has launched a new initiative called ?Rural BPO? wherein the company partners with small BPO firms based in rural areas to provide training and employment to residents of the community and nearby areas.

BI, analytics software market grew 8% in 2013

Worldwide business intelligence (BI) and analytics software, consisting of BI platforms, corporate performance management (CPM) suites, analytic applications and advanced analytics, totaled $14.4 billion in 2013, an 8-percent increase from 2012 revenue of $13.3 billion, according to research firm Gartner.

Open Data PH to stage second hackathon

US removes PH from piracy watch list for first time in 20 years

With US president Barack Obama in the country for a state visit, the Philippines appears to have been ?rewarded? by the US on Monday, April 28, when the US government announced that it has removed the Philippines from its list of countries that are violating intellectual property rights.
