By Ylexis Kyle-Michael R. Rualo With a bold vision to ?revolutionize? the Philippine real estate industry through a combination of digital and personalized customer service, online real estate tech start-up ZipMatch officially debuted on April 30, Wednesday, during a press launch held in Makati City. According to Paredes, customers who search for a property and inquire through their concierge would get a reply or feedback in a matter of minutes. The online concierge, she added, can also help customers narrow down their options based on need, budget, and priority. Aside from having real estate news and a mortgage calculator on the site, ZipMatch also offers advice from experts in the field through a blog. The platform is said to be the first in the industry to make use of an overlay flood risk map to inform potential buyers about possible risks that a location entails. This would allow clients to evaluate the environmental hazards linked to a property. Also included on ZipMatch is the 360-dgerees virtual tour that would allow buyers to explore the community and surrounding establishments associated with a particular property. The application can also be used to scout for the nearest school, hospital, church, and grocery store, among others. Another feature that would soon be operational in the platform is a forum space where clients and agents can communicate with one another. It aims to create and foster an online real estate community among its contributors and guests. John Dang, co-founder and CEO of ZipMatch, said that anyone can sell on the site but its online team verifies first the legitimacy of the broker and check the quality of the property as pre-requisites. The coverage of properties on the platform is not limited to Metro Manila. He added that the team also offers specialized marketing services for real estate developers, banks, and brokers. In fact, it recently closed a partnership deal with BPI Family Bank, enabling home-loan applications to be part of its property search process. Home loan application has been integrated into the site?s services. ?With ZipMatch, we are trying to create a set of solutions that can apply to the Philippine setting and other emerging markets and in the process help create an online real estate environment that is comprehensive, efficient and risk-free,? said Kyle Wiltshire, ZipMatch IT director. He concluded that ZipMatch aims to expand to other Asean countries and eventually into the international market. ]]>
