BPI cardholders can use the Big points to redeem AirAsia flights and services, among others. For example, they will be the first to know of AirAsia’s Big points redemptions. Ginbee Go, SVP of BPI payments and unsecured lending, said BPI is the first and exclusive bank partner of AirAsia for the rewards conversion program. “This means BPI cardholders have more options in using their reward points and have more options in where they can travel using their big points,” Ginbee said. Aside from BPI, AirAsia Big’s other partners are Petronas and CIMB Bank in Malaysia, Bangkok Bank and Centrail in Thailand, Bank Mandiri and Indosat in Indonesia, and DBS and Starhub in Singapore. Goh added AirAsia Big now has over 70 regional partners, representing more than 1,500 brand in retail, finance and tourism. As a launch offering, AirAsia Big is giving 13-percent bonus Big points to BPI cardholders who convert a minimum of 300 RTR points (100 AirAsia Big points) beginning last May 13 until July 13 this year. To avail of the loyalty program, BPI cardholders would have to sign up as an AirAsia Big Loyalty Program member via airasiabig.com and call BPI at 89100 or email expressonline@bpi.com.ph to convert RTR points to Big points. ?
