Internet stakeholders in PH, Asia Pacific urged to migrate to IPv6

As addresses using IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4) begin to run out, technology investors and stakeholders in the Philippines and Asia Pacific are being urged to transition to IPv6 in order to maintain a scalable Internet for the region.

Consumer 3D printing more than 5 years away — Gartner

3D printing is evolving rapidly, although many technologies are still five to 10 years away from mainstream adoption. Consumer adoption will be outpaced by business and medical applications that have more compelling use cases in the short term, according to analyst firm Gartner.

Huawei starts selling Honor 3X, 3C phablets in PH

Chinese tech firm Huawei has introduced in the country two Android-powered phablets under the Honor brand line -- the the Honor 3X (a.k.a. Ascend G750) and the Honor 3C. Both feature dual-SIM connectivity.
