The managed connectivity will help PhilHealth process more transactions efficiently to meet customer needs pertaining to membership queries and benefits claim applications, and maintain its ratings in frontline servicing, as granted by the Civil Service Commission. ?PLDT is delighted to be PhilHealth?s partner in enhancing its operations, knowing that all of these efforts are for the higher purpose of providing the best possible health services to its millions of customers. We believe that this initiative will enable PhilHealth to respond faster and more efficiently to the rising demands of its members,? said PLDT president and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno. PLDT said it is in the best position to serve the connectivity requirements of Philhealth offices around the country with its extensive network that includes more than 100,000 kilometers of fiber-optic cable. Apart from the private network connectivity, a network performance and management tool that offers on-demand and real-time network visibility will be in place to effectively monitor the running systems. These generate on-demand reports on network profiling and capacity planning enabling the delivery of critical business services with high reliability for their customers. ?We are positive that through this program, we can bolster the processing and delivery of our services to our members, giving them fast and the most efficient course to carry out our obligations of providing seamless health insurance coverage for all Filipinos,? said PhilHealth president and CEO Alexander A. Padilla. PhilHealth recently ramped up its Health Care Institution (HCI) Portal which establishes a linkage between PhilHealth and its accredited institutional health care providers through an online connection. The system simplifies the filing of claims and availment procedures by cutting down on the documentary requirements through the generation of the PhilHealth Benefit Eligibility Form (PBEF). ]]>
