Lifestyle-M100 The new M-Series ink-tank printer, according to Epson Philippines inkjet product manager Russer Cabrera, is a superior alternative to the laser printer as it offers cheaper and faster laser quality prints. At P565 per bottle, Epson said the M-Series has a yield of 6,000 pages — 12x cheaper than laser printers. It has a print speed of up to 34ppm (15ipm), similar to laser print-outs. The Japanese firm said the pigment-based ink of the Epson M-Series produces water-resistant and fade-resistant prints), and is energy efficient (lower energy consumption than conventional laser printers). ?Because of the undeniable cost savings that the M-Series provides, we are confident that the discerning Filipino businessman will love and choose the M-Series over alternative laser printers. It?s time to move past traditional technology and embrace what will serve the needs of tomorrow,? added Cabrera. Mseries Chart Cabrera admitted that some laser printer customers are probably not yet ready to make the transition to M-Series ink-tank printers. For this reason, Epson said it still carries traditional laser printers. ?We give the customers what they?re looking for. Once they?re ready to switch to the more cost efficient option, we will then help them with the M-Series printer perfect for their needs. In the meantime, Epson still has laser printers in their product lines,? clarified Cabrera.]]>
