mobile spam Globe has deployed Xura?s Spam & Fraud Control solution back in 2015, and is now blocking 300,000 spam messages a day, to protect its customers from unwanted messages. Globe stepped up its anti-spam campaign in 2015 to protect its customers from receiving unsolicited messages or fraudulent text. It wanted a proactive control mechanism that would detect the scammers, spammers and fraudsters that routinely exploit its network. Globe selected Xura and its Spam & Fraud Control, which provides a single solution to handle all internal and international traffic and can filter up to one billon SMS daily. Anton Bonifacio, Globe chief information security officer, said: ?By working with Xura, we have been stepping up our campaign against unwanted and errant text messages, and curb these from our network and to subscriber?s devices.? Xura said its solution is the only option available on the market that includes network and content level filtering. The platform currently covers the majority of Globe?s post-paid and prepaid customers with a combined total of 53 million as of the end of 2015. ]]>
