Call center operator Concentrix has inaugurated a state-of-the-art facility — said to be ?better the Google? ? at Tera Tower in Bridgetowne complex at the corner of C-5 Road and Ortigas Avenue in Quezon City.
The site, which occupies 22,500 square meters of floor space, is the first part of the company’s P1-billion campus at Bridgetowne. When fully completed over the next three years, Concentrix will occupy 57,500 square meters in Tera Tower and in yet-to-be completed Exxa and Zeta towers.
The US-based firm said the new location complements the campuses it currently operates in other parts of Metro Manila and in the provincial sites of Naga, Cagayan De Oro, Davao and its newest operating location in Cebu.
“We are committed to providing our staff and clients with the best resources and facilities,” said Concentrix president Chris Caldwell, who revealed during the launch that the company is spending $25 million to $30 million for the new facility.
“Our growth in the Philippines demonstrates the tremendous talent that’s here and our continued commitment to this region. Our staff represents some of the world’s best brands and repeatedly deliver better customer experience and improved business outcomes for our clients.”
The new facility has the capacity to employ 7,000 workers and seen to significantly jack up the current 20,000 staff that Concentrix employs in the country. With the addition of the Bridgetowne sites, Caldwell said the company expects to double its local headcount in the next three to four months.
Comprising a total of 11 state-of-the-art floors for operations and back office work, plus a dedicated recruitment hub on the ground floor, Concentrix at Tera Tower has a relaxed working space and provides a sweeping view of the Marikina Valley and the mountains of Rizal province.
Among other building features designed to attract a diverse talent pool are a centralized cafeteria, a clinic with dedicated doctor’s offices and a patient waiting area; shower suites; a fitness center; and a wellness area for mothers.
At the launch, the company also announced its purchase of Minacs, a Canada-headquartered business outsourcing company with a Philippines presence.
