Brother PH parades all-new mono laser printer series

By Edd K. Usman Japanese printer maker Brother International Corp. has rolled out its all-new mono laser series of printers in the local market. The series has four models: two mono laser printers — the HL-L5100DN and HL-L6400DW — and two Multi-Function Centers (MFCs) — the MFC-L5900DW and the MFC-L6900DW — made for high-print volume office environments. “As you may know this year, we at Brother Philippines are celebrating our 15th anniversary in the Philippines. We have reached a lot of milestones and achieved many goals since our start of operations in the year 2001,” said Glenn Jocson, president of Brother Philippines. Jocson recalled the company’s local stint, witnessing how the economy’s growth coincided with the company?s expansion and the emergence of Filipino entrepreneurs. The launch of the printer series, Jocson said, is the company?s response to the changing times by providing affordable printing and imaging solutions to Filipino businessmen, whether they are in corporate sector or an SME (small and medium enterprise). He said Brother Philippines has five regional branches and over 150 authorized service centers across the country to provide customers timely service. “Through our new products, we hope to help even further our customers, especially Filipino entrepreneurs to work even better and be successful in their endeavors,” said Jocson. He assured the four new printers will help its users maximize print efficiency and less cost and give customers the most out of their investment on the Brother products. Brother Philippines general manager Masao Kasagi, meanwhile, the new products were built to meet the challenges of businesses. ?These are reliable, built for savings and productivity, ultimately helping in business operations,” the Japanese executive said. He said Brother International strives to come up with innovations and quality products to meet changing needs and situations. “We listened to what our customers wanted, and incorporated what they said when these products were being developed. Now they are here and we know that they will go on to achieve Brother’s ‘At Your Side’ philosophy,” Kasagi said. The company said users of its four new products can expect improved total cost of ownership; superior productivity and ease of use; simplified business operations; customized workflow solutions; and mobile convenience. ]]>
