The city government of Manila has launched its e-trike project in an attempt to combat air pollution and improve the livelihood of some 1,500 legally franchised tricycle drivers in the city.

Unlike the previous version of the bill that was passed during the Aquino administration, a major provision of the proposed measure mandates that the minimum Internet speed is 10 megabits per second (Mbps).
Electrolux Philippines general manager Noel Cabanban explained that this is just the first batch of products that they will unveil this year.
