Sharp says its new appliances will conform to millennial lifestyle

Sharp Philippines marketing manager Rosemary Hao told Newsbytes.PH in an interview on the sidelines of the launch of its latest products held at the Bonifacio Global City. She said the highlight of the event was the launching of the Sharp Aquos XU series 4K TV. Powered by Android, the company claimed it is the ?first-ever 4K TV with the world?s highest 8K resolution.? Hao said local users can now Filipinos can now plug in to an exceptional 4K TV viewing like never before, with the new Sharp Aquos XU Series 4K TV. The Aquos XU series comes in Series type LC-80XU930X size 80 inch and 70-inch LC-70XU830X. Hao said Aquos XU series provides the latest connectivity standards for the millennials. She said a super speed USB and MHL 3.0 allows users to enjoy high-definition content from various sources, especially smart phones and SD memory cards. Wireless gaming is also made possible with its Bluetooth and built-in Wi-Fi. Moreover, Hao said it has added features such as the touchpad and the Google Voice Search function. One can easily connect to pre-installed apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Google Play, and Google cast, among others. Hao assured that the local affiliate of the Japanese consumer electronics giant and appliance manufacturer will roll out more products within the year in response to the demands of Filipino consumers. ?The response of the local market is quite encouraging as the local buyers want quality products. They are very aware that we sell high quality products because of Japanese technology,? Hao pointed out. ?One major factor for the growing demand for our products is the fact the disposable of Filipinos is getting higher,? Hao added. For instance, she said more Filipinos are now buying gully automatic machines as compared before when they preferred a twin tub washing machine. It has been manufacturing television sets for the local market for 27 years.
