Japanese imaging titan Canon has officially launched the new PowerShot SX730 HS high-zoom compact camera.
The pocket-sized shooter provides a high-sensitivity 20-megapixel CMOS sensor, 180-degrees tilting LCD screen, and advanced features such as Smooth Skin mode for enhancing self-portraits.

The PowerShot SX730 HS weighs a mere 300 grams with a high zoom capability of up to 40x. With Canon Zoomplus technology, the SX730 HS can double the focal point up to twice the maximum.
It is also equipped with the Zoom Framing Assist tool to track the subject should it move out of frame while user is shooting. In addition, the Auto Zoom feature also enhances framing precision to help users achieve well-framed shots without complication.
The SX70 HS’ tilting LCD screen flips up to 180 degree to catch up with the user’s preferred angle when taking selfies. There are three levels of effects to choose from via the Smooth Skin mode tagged with the option to blur the background by defining a deeper depth of field in portraits. The Smooth Skin mode is also available in both the Self-Portrait mode and Regular mode.
Stabilization mode that suppresses camera shakes is also included in its skill set.
The PowerShot SX730 HS is equipped with Wi-Fi and NFC capabilities to easily establish a connection between the camera and their smartphones for photos and videos transfer, wireless printing, uploading onto social media, and use their smartphones for remote shooting via the Canon Camera Connect app.
