After getting good feedback and validation, Arboleda said they decided to market their product to help automate tax filing easier for freelancers and small to medium entrepreneurs, as well as ?solopreneurs?. In a press briefing, Arboleda announced Taxumo has recently launched its paid applications in Makati City. The two subscription plans are the Basic and the Premium plan. The Basic plan allows an individual to track his income and expenses, check withholding taxes (2307) and file a taxpayer?s 2551M (monthly percentage taxes) as well as the 1701Q quarterly taxes. Further, an individual can also assign a user to access other people using the Basic plan. The Basic plan comes into two tiers: the Monthly and Annual tier. The monthly Basic tier costs P1,295 per month. Meanwhile, the Annual Basic tier costs about P375 per month The annual Premium plan is around P795 per month, billed as a one-time payment of P9,495. With the Premium plan, a user can avail every feature included in the Basic plan, plus the capability to file a user?s annual income tax returns (1701). ?We know how it feels to stress about taxes, since we experienced it firsthand,? said Arboleda. ?My wife and Taxumo co-founder Ginger Arboleda used to worry all the time about paying her taxes for her other startup Manila Workshops, Because I wanted to help her, I created a simple application that ran on her computer. It was enough though to remove a huge bulk of the stress and enable her to focus and grow Manila Workshops,? Arboleda added. Arboleda said Taxumo has a user-friendly interface dashboard that reminds a user when to pay. He said the platform provides a lot of convenience as a taxpayer does not need to go to the Bureau of Internal Revenue or the bank to pay their taxes. He pointed out it will require a user a few clicks to process all the necessary requirements without leaving their homes or offices. ?With our affordable subscription plans which enable access to the many features on the platform, we hope everyone can begin to focus more on their passion and worry less about their taxes,? Arboleda pointed out. ]]>
