The exclusive event also highlighted the upgraded versions of the company’s well-known devices such as the Apple Watch Series 3, the Apple TV 4K, and the iPhone 8.

Meant to celebrate the iPhone’s 10th year, the iPhone X is a 5.8-inch handset projecting a 458 pixel-per-inch at 2436 x 1125 resolution on a Super Retina glass panel. It will come in Space Gray and Silver finishes sporting an “edge to edge” display.

The new iPhone X has replaced the home button with an on-screen interface for the multitask, back, and home screen functions. With this move, Apple has also replaced the fingerprint security with Face ID, requiring the users to register their facial details to unlock the phone.

Moreover, the water- and dust-resistant iPhone X allows the upgraded battery — which now gives users two more hours of battery life than the iPhone 7’s — to wirelessly charge it back to 100% with “Air Power.” The Air Power can also charge the Apple Watch and the optional Air Pods case.

In the photography department, it has a 12-megapixel dual cameras at the back with larger and faster sensors, and is backed up by quad-LED True Tone flash for better uniformity of light. They are armed with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures, helping the cameras to capture better low-light zoom and improved video stabilization.
