Customers can now pay Growsari sari sari store merchants with their RCBC Digital and other QR PH Payment-to-Merchant (P2M)-registered online banking or e-wallet apps.
The tech firm stressed the importance of finding the perfect balance between ensuring consumer protection while providing room for innovation and promoting the interest of tech platforms.
The Department of Finance said the proposed law will level the playing field between digital and traditional businesses, especially those that cannot shift to the digital platform.
