The House Committee on Women and Gender Equality also held initial deliberations on bills seeking to amend Republic Act 9262 or the "Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004" that would address the problem of electronic violence against women and children or minors (E-VAWC).
The House of Representative has approved House Bill 8655 which seeks to address the growing number of incidents and cases of electronic violence against women and children.
