By Ram Superable Agustin

With the prevalence of WiFi connectivity in homes nowadays, gadgets retailer Power Mac Center has deemed it wise to include home automation devices in its list of offerings.

The new smart devices come from tech brands like Eufy, Linksys, Belkin, Ambi Climate, and Sonos. All these products can be controlled through their respective mobile applications or the Control4 app for iPhones.

As the smart devices are powered by a WiFi connection, Power Mac Center also offers the Linksys Velop, a modular whole-home mesh WiFi system consisting of three band routers that act as an interconnected series of nodes that ensures complete signal coverage around the house.

According to Linksys country sales manager Jason Villados, Velop fits any home or small business environment with options for different broadband service packages to deliver the best WiFi experience for all devices on the network.

The eufyCam Wire-Free HD Security Camera, on the other hand, has enough juice to operate for an entire year on a single charge. The security camera also boasts an IP67 rating, real-time notifications and streaming coupled with human and face recognition, a military-grade encryption, and a capable night vision capability. The device has a price tag of P29,995.00.

Meanwhile, Belkin showcased their wireless charging docks, pads, and stands which are fine-tuned to power up Apple devices. The chargers cost from P1,690 to P8,690.

Sonos, a well-known brand in sound systems, also presented their array of smart speakers from the Sonos Play which retails for P18,900 to the Sonos Beam Ultimate Wireless Soundbar Speaker which sells for P49,990.

Ambi Climate, an AI-enabled smart air condition controller that works seamlessly with its proprietary mobile Ambi app, retails for P7,995.00.

“Power Mac Center aims to redefine home living in the Philippines. We are more than excited to introduce these innovative products from our globally recognized brand partners and usher in a new level of connectedness for our tech-savvy customers,” said Joey Alvarez, Power Mac Center director of product management and marketing.

The smart devices are currently available from Power Mac Center branches in Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall, The Podium, Robinsons Magnolia, SM Aura Premier, The Annex at SM North EDSA, Festival Supermall, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, TriNoma, and Harbor Point.
