Globe Telecom is marking the 10th anniversary of its GDay initiative this September, using its digital ecosystem to deliver a month-long slate of customer rewards, exclusive perks, and fan experiences aimed at deepening engagement with its subscriber base.
Launched in 2014 as a customer appreciation effort, GDay has since evolved into a technology-driven program powered by the GlobeOne app, which now functions as the central hub for the campaign.
Through the app, subscribers can access daily digital surprise gifts, redeem rewards, and secure entries to the company’s flagship raffle program.
The G Raffle Rush, running from September 1 to October 31, integrates Globe’s rewards and digital payments platforms, offering customers prizes that span both lifestyle and technology.
Weekly prize drops include ₱100,000 in GCash credits, gadgets from Huawei, Honor, Asus ROG, Aand Oppo, and travel experiences.
Larger prizes such as a BYD Atto 3 electric vehicle, a condominium unit in Pasig, and a house-and-lot in Cavite underscore Globe’s push to tie its digital loyalty initiatives to tangible, high-value benefits.
To expand reach beyond digital channels, Globe is rolling out GDay Pop-Up Booths in key cities including Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Naga, Tuguegarao, and Cagayan de Oro.
These on-ground activations are designed to complement the app-based campaign with exclusive promotions and partner-driven offerings.
Globe is also tapping into the growing demand for digital entertainment with events such as the GDay BINI Fan Meet on September 13, where over 1,500 customers will be able to redeem tickets via the GlobeOne app.
The integration of live experiences with digital redemption highlights the company’s hybrid approach to customer engagement.
