Google rolls out AI Plus subscription in PH

Internet giant Google has launched its premium plan, Google AI Plus, in the Philippines as part of a wider rollout to 40 new countries, giving more users access to its latest artificial intelligence tools and services.

The subscription service is aimed at making Google’s AI technology more accessible, particularly in emerging markets, where digital tools are increasingly shaping work, education, and creativity.

With Google AI Plus, subscribers receive expanded usage of AI models, including higher limits for the “Nano Banana” image generation and editing model within the Gemini app, as well as additional access to the Veo 3 Fast video generation tool. These can be integrated with filmmaking platforms such as Whisk and Flow.

The plan also offers seamless AI integration into Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Docs, and Sheets to boost productivity.

Subscribers will additionally get 200 GB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, and can share the plan’s benefits with up to five family members.
