The Philippine Startup Week (PHSW) 2025 will take place from November 10 to 14, highlighting the theme “Scaling Filipino Innovation: Start Local, Go Global.”
The annual event aims to help local startups expand internationally and strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem.
Now in its sixth year, PHSW is jointly organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), which make up the Innovation Startup Act (ISA) Steering Committee.
The National Development Company (NDC) and the Strategic and Collaborative Alliance for Leveraging Ecosystems of Startups–National Capital Region (Scale NCR) are also co-organizing this year’s edition.
The main events will be held at the newly opened Philippine Innovation Hub in Marikina, which will host multiple conference stages, startup exhibits, and networking sessions.
PHSW 2025 will feature five key tracks:
- Discover – focused on technopreneurship and launching startups;
- Collaborate – strengthening partnerships within the innovation ecosystem;
- Develop – providing mentorship and capacity-building support;
- Showcase – spotlighting tech startups through pitching sessions; and
- Invest – linking ventures with potential investors and funding opportunities.
The event is expected to gather startups, investors, government officials, and other ecosystem players to discuss policy developments, investment opportunities, and strategies to make Filipino startups globally competitive.
