Food delivery platform foodpanda Philippines has teamed up with EastWest Bank and Visa to roll out a new co-branded credit card designed to give users higher cashback returns on food deliveries and everyday spending.
The EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card, unveiled ahead of the holiday season, targets younger consumers who are increasingly adopting digital and cashless payment options. The card offers cashback rewards across multiple categories and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide.
Cardholders can earn 10% cashback on foodpanda transactions, capped at P400 per month, after which additional foodpanda orders earn 3% cashback. Purchases made overseas earn 1% cashback, while other domestic transactions earn 0.3%, subject to a maximum monthly cashback of P1,000 across all categories.
Unlike traditional rewards systems, cashback is credited weekly to users’ pandapay wallets, giving customers faster access to their earnings.
Early users will receive perks including a waived annual fee for the first year and a complimentary six-month pandapro subscription.
“We built this card around what our customers love most: food, convenience, and crave-on-demand,” said Daniel Jaramillo, managing director of foodpanda Philippines.
