Samsung Electronics Philippines has opened its new Business Experience Studio and SmartThings Home Showroom in Taguig City, offering companies and homeowners hands-on access to the brand’s connected technologies.
Unveiled this December, the facility is positioned as a showcase of how integrated devices, smart platforms, and AI-enabled systems can drive efficiency in business operations while improving comfort in households.
Samsung cited findings from the 2024 KPMG Global Tech Report showing that 87% of organizations have boosted profits through technology adoption in the last two years.
Located within Samsung’s office at McKinley Hill, the Business Experience Studio features six technology zones built around industry use cases:
- Hospitality: Frictionless check-in systems, hotel-specific TVs, audio devices, and advanced cooling units such as WindFree Air Conditioners aim to streamline operations and enhance the guest experience.
- Retail and restaurants: Digital display solutions and Samsung Kiosk enable fast ordering and menu updates through the VXT content management system.
- Education: Galaxy tablets and Flip Pro boards support interactive learning, with tools like Samsung DeX enabling shared workspaces and digital collaboration.
- Industrial and field operations: Rugged devices such as the Galaxy XCover7 and Tab Active5 are paired with Samsung Knox for secure and centralized fleet management.
Samsung said the studio is designed to help enterprises adapt quickly to operational challenges by showing how combined hardware and software ecosystems can replace disjointed systems.
Alongside the enterprise hub, Samsung also opened a SmartThings Home Showroom, demonstrating how appliances and entertainment devices can be controlled from a single platform.
SmartThings enables automation of daily tasks and unified control of home systems, from security to entertainment and energy use.
Featured devices include connected appliances, Vision AI televisions, and smart monitors that allow residents to manage entertainment, productivity, and household functions in one environment.
The Samsung Business Experience Studio and SmartThings Home Showroom is located at the Samsung Office, 10th Floor, Science Hub Tower 4, McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
