SEC’s new mandatory online ticketing system to start Jan. 2

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has fully launched its upgraded iMessage online ticketing platform, which will serve as the mandatory channel for all public inquiries and transactions starting Jan. 2, 2026.

The system went live on December 4 and will be used for submitting requests, complaints, and reports to the commission. It will cover services offered at the SEC head office in Makati and all 15 extension offices nationwide.

The platform allows users to submit documents online, view full transaction histories, track requests in real time, and directly communicate with the SEC office handling their case. These features will only be available through the upgraded system.

To use the portal, users must first register through the Electronic SEC Universal Registration Environment (eSECURE), which now serves as the single sign-on gateway for the SEC’s digital services.

A transition period will be observed from Dec. 4, 2025 to Jan. 1, 2026. During this time, the SEC will continue accepting queries through email and other existing channels, but transactions sent outside the new platform will not have access to the new monitoring and messaging functions.

Beginning Jan. 2, users who contact the SEC through email or other online channels will be required to secure a ticket through iMessage for their request to be processed.

The agency urged the public to register early and shift to the new system to avoid delays once the system becomes mandatory next year.
