Fast Logistics adopts AI transport platform to replace in-house system

Logistics firm Fast Logistics Group has rolled out an AI-powered transport management platform as it replaces its in-house system to improve delivery planning, visibility, and operational performance across its nationwide fleet.

The company is transitioning from its custom-built Transport Management System to a configuration-based platform developed by FarEye, an international logistics software firm specializing in AI-driven delivery and routing tools.

The shift covers Fast’s more than 3,100 transport units, which is said to be the largest logistics fleet in the country.

Fast said the new system is intended to improve route optimization, delivery predictability, and real-time visibility across hubs and vehicles.

The platform also enables the company to monitor operational metrics such as driver productivity, hub efficiency, service-level agreement compliance, and customer performance indicators.

Unlike Fast’s legacy system, the new platform allows workflows and processes to be configured without extensive custom coding, which the company said would shorten deployment timelines for new transport capabilities and operational changes.

Company executives said the move reflects growing pressure on logistics operators to scale operations while maintaining consistency across increasingly complex delivery networks, particularly in last-mile services.

Fast delivers more than one million shipments annually and serves sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, retail, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and agriculture.

The company said the system is currently entering the design and rollout phase, with full deployment expected to support long-term operational scaling.

Beyond commercial operations, Fast works with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in hiring beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and partners with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority to provide accredited training for logistics-related roles, including warehouse and forklift operations.
