C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions (C&E ALS) and Trinity University of Asia (TUA) have entered into a partnership to implement the Canvas learning management system and jointly develop microcredential programs, following the signing of an agreement in November 2025.
The partnership covers a three-year subscription to Canvas LMS by Instructure and the co-development of industry-aligned short courses.
The contract signing was held on November 19, 2025, at the TUA campus in Quezon City, attended by senior officials from both institutions.
Under the agreement, TUA will adopt Canvas LMS, which is used by more than 6,000 educational institutions worldwide. The system will be implemented with support from CE-Logic Inc., the digital solutions arm of C&E ALS and Instructure’s channel partner in the Philippines.
The platform includes integrated tools such as Canvas Studio, Catalog, Redmenta AI Tool, and Accredify, aimed at improving course delivery, assessment, and learning analytics.
The collaboration also includes the development of microcredential courses designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills.
C&E ALS will work with TUA faculty and industry partners on outcomes-based course design, instructional development, quality assurance, and publication through Ascend Learning, an AI-powered platform for microcredentials.
The program will cover both short, non-stackable courses and stackable lifelong learning modules.
C&E ALS chief executive officer John Emyl Eugenio said the initiative is intended to prepare students for evolving workforce demands.
“Through this collaboration, we hope to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for the modern workforce,” Eugenio said, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding industry-aligned microcredential programs.
CE-Logic, which serves as Instructure’s Diamond Services Partner in Asia, will continue to provide technical and implementation support to TUA as part of the agreement.
