Computer hardware maker Asus has partnered with local IT distributor Techtron Systems Corp. to bring its latest NUC mini-PCs to the Philippine market, with the companies announcing the arrangement during an event held on March 3.
Under the partnership, Techtron will serve as the official distributor of Asus NUC products in the country, including the newly launched Asus NUC 16 Pro mini-PC.
The NUC 16 Pro is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 3rd Generation processors and is designed to deliver improved performance and AI capabilities for professional and enterprise workloads.
The compact system integrates advanced AI processing features and enhanced graphics performance intended for data-heavy applications and modern workplace environments.
According to Asus, the device can deliver AI performance of up to 180 trillion operations per second (TOPS) at the platform level, allowing it to support AI-driven applications such as analytics, automation, and content processing.
Alongside the NUC 16 Pro, Techtron will also distribute the Asus NUC 15 Pro, which runs on Intel Core Ultra 2nd Generation processors and is positioned for content creators and professional users.
Techtron said the partnership aims to expand the availability and support of Asus NUC mini-PCs in the local market through its nationwide dealer network.
The distributor will also offer bundled packages pairing Asus NUC systems with LCD monitors as part of its commercial offerings.
