Digital lender GoTyme Bank has partnered with payments firm Visa to offer Filipino customers a chance to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026, including raffle-based trips tied to card usage.
The bank said the promotion will allow GoTyme Bank Visa debit cardholders to earn entries to win all-expense-paid trips to the tournament, which will be held across the United States, Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Under the promo, every P1,000 spent using Classic and Pitch Black cards earns one raffle entry, with overseas transactions getting a three-times multiplier. Two winners from these categories will receive trips for two to the group stage matches in Los Angeles.
A separate “Trophy Gold” card tier — described as a rare release — automatically qualifies holders for a grand prize draw, with one winner set to receive a trip for two to the World Cup final in New York.
To support the campaign, GoTyme Bank will roll out limited-edition Visa debit cards featuring FIFA World Cup 2026-themed designs by Filipino artist Ross Du. These will be available starting March 23 via the bank’s kiosks nationwide.
The lender said the initiative is aimed at giving Filipino fans a chance to experience the global football event in person, a rarity for most local supporters.
“This partnership marks an important step forward for GoTyme Bank. Collaborating with Visa in association with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ reflects the ambition we have for our customers and for the country,” said GoTyme Bank CEO Nate Clarke.
Visa, for its part, said the collaboration is part of efforts to link payments with global events.
“We are committed to connecting fans to the moments that matter most, and the FIFA World Cup 2026 is one of the world’s most anticipated sporting events. Our collaboration with GoTyme Bank signifies our shared goal of expanding access and enabling more Filipinos to partake in the global football experience,” said Jeffrey Navarro, Visa country manager for the Philippines.
The promo period for most cardholders runs until May 7, while entries for Trophy Gold cardholders will be accepted until June 10.
