Philips Home Access is rolling out major deals for the 11.11 shopping festival as it launches its most advanced smart lock yet — the DDL902-MFVP-11HWS, part of the 9000 series — available exclusively on the Philips Home Access Flagship Store on Lazada.
Touted as its most sophisticated smart lock so far, the DDL902-MFVP-11HWS introduces features not yet seen in the consumer market — including a three-camera system that allows users to monitor visitors, deliveries, and even indoor activity from multiple angles.
Two cameras face outward while one faces inside, offering a panoramic and CCTV-like field of view via the Philips app. During a preview demonstration, Philips executives highlighted how the cameras maintain clarity even in low-light conditions through IR-enhanced night vision.
For secure and seamless access, the model features touchless 3D live face recognition and palm-vein scanning, designed to work even when a user has shallow fingerprints, dry fingers, or moisture-related sensor issues.
The lock also supports traditional unlocking methods — PIN/password, RFID card, key tag, and a mechanical key — ensuring flexibility for all kinds of households.
Constructed from zinc and aluminum alloys, the smart lock includes a push-pull handle, hidden fingerprint sensor, and a sleek obsidian-black finish. The device runs on a Li-polymer battery good for up to three months per charge and supports wireless charging, one of its new flagship features.
Philips representatives also emphasized that removing or transferring the lock is intentionally difficult without proper technical expertise — an added layer of physical security against tampering or burglary attempts.
The DDL902-MFVP-11HWS will debut on Lazada’s 11.11 sale with limited stocks, bundled with up to ₱25,000 worth of freebies for early buyers. Customers can also enjoy up to 50% discounts on other Philips smart locks and additional savings of up to ₱15,000 across selected models.
While Philips has been selling smart locks in the Philippines since 2021 — moving thousands of units monthly across various models — the company clarified that this launch is its first official partnership with Lazada under the Philips Home Access flagship store.
“Our lowest model starts below ₱10,000. People buy smartphones at that price range — so a smart lock that protects your entire home is an easy upgrade,” a Philips executive said.
“A high-quality wooden door alone costs ₱12,000 to ₱15,000. Adding smart access eliminates duplication of keys, improves convenience for families, and boosts security.”
For homeowners with sliding doors, Philips noted that it offers compatible variants, though the newly launched 9000-series model is optimized for main front doors. The team also pointed out that smart locks can be mounted even on premium pivot doors that cost upwards of ₱250,000.
If forcibly breached, the door — not the lock — is more likely to take the damage, the company said.
With the Christmas shopping rush approaching, Philips is positioning its smart locks as a practical and future-ready upgrade for modern homes—especially as Filipinos increasingly adopt smart home ecosystems.
“Our launch on Lazada makes it easier for Filipinos to access top-of-the-line smart security systems,” the brand added. “It’s a perfect time to upgrade as families gear up for holiday gatherings and gift-giving.”
