DITO partners with Viber to add dating feature to mobile plans

Mobile network operator DITO Telecommunity has partnered with messaging platform Rakuten Viber to offer Viber Dating Premium access as part of selected DITO mobile data packages, with the promotion launched during the Wonderful Moments Music Festival held over the Valentine’s weekend.

Under the offer, subscribers to DITO’s Level Up 129 package will receive three months of free Viber Dating Premium, while higher-tier bundles priced at ₱299, ₱499, and ₱999 will include six months of Premium access. The bundles combine DITO’s all-access mobile data with premium features on Viber’s dating service.

DITO and Viber promoted the partnership at the two-day music festival, where the telecom provider served as the event’s official network sponsor. Festival-goers were able to visit DITO booths and participate in promotional activities highlighting the offer.

Viber Dating is positioned as a feature within the messaging platform designed to connect users based on shared interests such as music, gaming, and entertainment.

The service also includes profile verification and privacy features that separate dating profiles from a user’s main Viber account and hide their mobile number.

“Filipino women are smart, socially aware, and tired of inauthentic digital experiences,” said Miriam Z. Choa, deputy chief revenue officer of DITO Telecommunity.

“The DITO Level Up 129 with free Viber Dating Premium isn’t just a promo — it’s a commitment to safer, more meaningful connections built on shared passions. We’ll keep creating spaces — online and on-ground — where those relationships flourish.”

DITO said the music festival activation marks the first co-branded lifestyle campaign between the two companies in 2026, with additional collaborations planned later in the year.
