STI Holdings lands on Forbes Asia list with $97 million in sales

STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. (STI Holdings) has been named to Forbes Asia’s 2026 “Best Under A Billion” list, joining six other Philippine companies among 200 publicly listed small and midsized firms selected from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The annual list covers publicly traded companies with annual sales of more than $10 million but less than $1 billion, with Forbes evaluating companies based on measures that include sales and earnings growth, debt levels, and governance.

According to Forbes Asia, STI Holdings recorded $97 million in sales and $38 million in net income, with a market value of $193 million.

STI Holdings operates a network of educational institutions that includes STI Education Services Group (STI ESG), STI West Negros University (WNU), iACADEMY, and the Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA).

“We are honored to be recognized by Forbes Asia alongside distinguished Philippine and Asia-Pacific enterprises,” STI Holdings chairman Eusebio H. Tanco said.

“As we celebrate this achievement, our focus continues to be on offering excellent and internationally accepted educational standards by expanding educational opportunities, enhancing our digital and physical learning infrastructure, and equipping our Filipino youth with future-ready skills.”

STI Holdings president and CEO Monico Jacob said “the milestone is a testament to the trust of our students and parents, the dedication of our faculty and staff, and the solid execution of our long-term strategic vision.”

For the first nine months of school year 2025-2026, STI Holdings reported gross revenues of P4.20 billion, up 2% from the same period a year earlier, while net income after tax reached P1.63 billion.

Total enrollment across its schools stood at 132,941 students for the school year.

The education group has also been investing in its technology infrastructure, including Adobe Creative Cloud licenses, computer-aided design tools, cybersecurity platforms, and upgraded enrollment systems. It has also installed solar panels as part of infrastructure improvements at its campuses.
