Lawyer Renato “Aboy” Paraiso has been officially appointed as “acting executive director” of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), following his oath-taking before Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) secretary Henry Aguda on Friday, August 1.
Speaking during a post-SONA event in San Juan City, DICT secretary Henry Aguda reiterated the app's critical role in promoting efficient, transparent, and inclusive public service delivery.
From the original set of officials that served under the previous DICT chief, Ivan John Uy, three have left the agency – undersecretary for cybersecurity Jeffrey Ian Dy, undersecretary for ICT industry development Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, and Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) executive director Alexander Ramos.
