The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has urged the government to consider the first locally made air quality monitoring device, Robust Optical Aerosol Monitor or ROAM, as a prerequisite for the issuance of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC).
Researchers from the UP Diliman, in partnership with the DOST, has developed a low-cost, high-quality aerosol monitors to help find ways in minimizing air pollution in the cities.
