The South East Asia Hainan-Hong Kong Express Cable System (SEA-H2X) has six landing points: Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
Following the discussions, the SEA-H2X consortium is optimistic that the 5,000-kilometer submarine cable system will be online by 2024. SEA-H2X will connect Hong Kong SAR China, Hainan China, Philippines, Thailand, East Malaysia, and Singapore.
The Express and Western routes connecting Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be ready by December this year and the remaining Eastern routes will be completed by April 2023.
