Batangas representative Gerville Luistro expressed concern over DepEd's zero-percent accomplishment rates for both current and continuing appropriations meant for eLearning, smart TVs, and laptops.
The 2022 budget for the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP), which aims to provide ICT packages and IT infrastructure in public schools, is approximately double the amount allocated in last year’s General Appropriations Act allocation.
The program is hounded by implementation woes such as the inability of some schools to receive PC packages because they lack multi-media or computer rooms.
