The new issuance amends the DPWH's order in 2014 which prohibited telecom and power companies from constructing posts along national roads as it “creates imminent danger to lives and properties and hamper relief operations” during calamities.
The DICT and the NTC recently asked the DPWH to amend a Department Order that prohibits posts and towers for cable of phones and mobile service providers along national roads.
