Grab’s first online supermarket, GrabSupermarket Fresh aims to bring fresh produce to consumers, sourced directly from farmers and suppliers located across the country such as Pangasinan and Bukidnon.
The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) has approved a new set of voluntary commitments undertaken by ride-hailing firm Grab as a continuing condition for the agency’s clearance of Grab’s acquisition of Uber in the Philippines in 2018.
To eliminate excessive cancellations that affect the ridesharing experience for both drivers and passengers, Grab said it has put in place a number of initiatives and policies to discourage cancellations on both sides.
Grab, in partnership with Lhuillier Taxi, will initially deploy 25 Grab Taxi units in the city. Lhuillier Taxi has a fleet of 55 taxi units and half of those have been deployed with Grab services.
Grab is also eyeing to implement a multimodal transportation system, wherein its TNVS units will be integrated into other modes of public transportation.
