Undersecretary Renato “Aboy” Paraiso has formally assumed office as executive director of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), while the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) also welcomed Julius Gorospe as its new undersecretary for cybersecurity, following separate oath-taking ceremonies on Feb. 2, 2026.
DICT secretary Henry Aguda’s remarks come as the Philippine Stock Exchange continues to underperform compared with regional counterparts, weighed down by low trading volumes and a scarcity of new listings.
Prior to being named DICT chief, Henry Aguda served as digital infrastructure sector lead of the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) while at the same holding the position as president and CEO of UnionDigital Bank.
