“Outdated” regulations in the ICT sector hamper the country’s digital readiness and efforts to drop internet cost, improve speed, and enhance service coverage, experts said in a recent webinar organized by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS).
Independent ICT policy researcher Grace Mirandilla-Santos said the IRR contains some very good provisions that underline the important role of satellite in the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
