Globe Telecom has partnered with Japanese telecommunications company KDDI Corporation to explore new mobile services and retail formats in the Philippines as the Ayala-led operator seeks additional revenue streams beyond connectivity.
The PCC said that after thorough assessment, it found that the transaction between Mitsui subsidiary Relia Inc. and KDDI subsidiary KDDI Evolva will not likely result in a substantial lessening, restriction, or prevention of competition in the relevant market.
