Once the “teleconsultation” is over, patients will receive an SMS from their doctor which will contain details on how they can pay for the consultation fee via their PayMaya account.
PayMaya said it now allows its users to send money directly to more than 30,000 Smart Padala centers nationwide -- even without having to step out of the house during the lockdown period.

Smart Padala by PayMaya, which is touted as the country’s largest mobile domestic remittance network, is intensifying its push to provide more digital financial services to the countryside as it launches its flagship stores that act as “digital hubs” across the country.
Through their PayMaya-enabled cards, beneficiaries can receive their benefits and allowances on time and use them to purchase from the roving Kadiwa stores.
PayMaya said it will also be soon enabling the BIR with a capability to accept payments from PayMaya users using only their mobile numbers through the BIR website, as well as a facility to allow Filipinos to pay taxes using any credit, debit, or prepaid card.
