Chinese automaker GAC made a strong statement at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), unveiling two all-new battery electric vehicles — the AION V and HYPTEC HT — alongside the Philippine debut of the AION UT, its global strategic model that first launched in Thailand.
Under the Electric Vehicle Incentives Scheme (EVIS), the Philippines is eyeing e-PUVs and two-wheelers as its niche in Southeast Asia, in which the country could be a competitive exporter in the region.
